Sanding is about the finished result, not the number of passes.
How we sand
Parquet is sanded with drum or belt machines, going from coarser to finer sandpaper – for example P40, P80, P120.

Dust-extracted, not “dust-free”
Our sanding is dust-extracted: the machines are professional and draw off most of the dust through ventilation. “Dust-free” sanding does not exist – that is an advertising trick.
The dust from sanding is dry and does not stick to the walls. In most cases we come after the plaster and before the latex paint.
If you are renovating
When you plan a renovation that includes sanding the parquet, protect the floor from plaster, lime and the like – they stay in the gaps.
